Here’s what CNBC TV’s producers were watching as the Nasdaq Composite jumped to its best session since Aug. 4, and what’s on the radar for the next session. Kevin Warsh in Jackson Hole, Wyoming Warsh, the chairman of the Federal Reserve , will give his speech at 10 a.m. ET. CNBC will have the pre-game starting at 5 a.m. on ” Morning Call ” and running through ” Squawk Box ” and ” Squawk on the Street .” CNBC’s economics reporter Steve Liesman is in Jackson Hole and will have full coverage. All parts of the stock market will be waiting and watching for news. The indexes Going into the big day, the S & P 500 is down 1.1% from the high reached earlier this month. It is up 12.9% so far in 2026. The Nasdaq Composite is up 14.2% year to date. It’s off 1.8% from the high hit in June. The Nasdaq 100 is up 17.4% so far this year. It’s off 3.6% from the June 3 high. The Russell 2000 is up 21.5% in 2026. The small-cap benchmark is down 1.8% from the high hit this month. The NYSE Composite is up 12% year to date. It’s down less than 1% from last week’s high point. .NDX YTD mountain Nasdaq 100 in 2026 The bond market The 30-year Treasury bond has a yield of 5.193% Thursday night. The 10-year Treasury note yield is at 4.676%. The 2-year Treasury yield is 4.234%. The 3-month Treasury bill yield is at 3.776%. The iShares iBoxx High Yield Corporate Bond ETF (HYG) has a dividend of 5.87% Thursday night. The State Street SPDR Bloomberg High Yield Bond ETF (JNK) has a dividend of 6.59%. The iShares 0-5 Year High Yield Corporate Bond ETF (SHYG) has a dividend of 6.98%. The Fidelity Corporate Bond ETF (FCOR) has a dividend yield of 4.65%. CrowdStrike The cybersecurity stock was up 20.5% on Thursday after Wednesday’s earnings report. CrowdStrike CEO George Kurtz was on “Mad Money” Thursday night with Jim Cramer. He said, “The realization has arrived that the AI offender is here. That’s what’s driving the momentum.” SentinelOne reported Thursday evening. The stock is down about 4% after hours as guidance wasn’t as robust as many were hoping for. The cybersecurity ETFs were up big during the session: The Global X Cybersecurity ETF (BUG) rose 10%, and the Amplify Cybersecurity ETF (HACK) gained 8%. More on the cybersecurity stocks Friday starting at 5 a.m. CRWD 5D mountain CrowdStrike in the past five trading days Apple CNBC’s MacKenzie Sigalos will report on the big CEO change at Apple . Tim Cook will be stepping down, and John Ternus will take the helm , effective Sept. 1. The stock is off 8.7% from its July 29 high. Shares are up 15.7% so far this year. Cook took over as CEO in August 2011. The stock is up 2,240% since. Beef CNBC’s Pippa Stevens will report on the beef business amid higher prices. She’ll explain why prices are so high, and how investors can benefit. Gap The stock is up 15% after hours following a mixed quarterly report . Gap also announced a new CEO for Old Navy. Shares are still off about 30% from the February high.
